Colm Donaghy is Chief Executive at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. He holds a BA in Sociology and Politics from Queens University Belfast and a MA in Business Strategy from the University of Ulster. Colm became Chief Executive at Southern Health and Social Services Board in 2002. In 2006 he became Chief Executive at Southern Health and Social Care Trust, before moving to Northern Health and Social Care Trust in 2009. In 2010 he became Chief Executive of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust until his appointment as Chief Executive at Sussex Partnership.
In 2005 Colm was asked by the Minister in Northern Ireland to lead the development of a suicide prevention strategy and subsequently chair the Northern Ireland Suicide Strategy Implementation Body until 2013.
From 2003 until 2010, Colm was Director General of Co-operating and Working Together, a cross border organisation promoting health and social care across the border region in Ireland.
