Early Intervention in Psychosis

SP_lib_JH0727_1

The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service in Sussex provides support to 14 to 35 year olds experiencing their first episode of psychosis.

We have five teams, one located in East Sussex, one in Brighton and Hove and three in West Sussex covering different geographical areas. Please see the contact details on the right for your area.

You will find telephone numbers (including the out of hours number) and the best way to refer to us listed on these pages.

Within our pages you can find information about psychosis and the symptoms some people can experience, what to do if you or someone you know may be experiencing psychosis and additional information for professionals, carers and 14 to 17 year olds.

There is also a helpful links page to other groups and organisations which may be able to provide additional support.

Early Intervention means getting help for problems when they start, before they develop into a more serious illness - the earlier someone gets help, the more quickly support can be put in place to help their recovery.
