Help in a crisis

This service is unable to support people during crisis or deterioration of mental health, therefore it is really important that if you feel concerned about your mental health or ability to stay safe at any point you should seek help from one of the following:

  • Your lead practitioner (if you are open to mental health services)
  • Your GP
  • SHOUT - an affiliate of Crisis Text Line® in the UK that provides free, confidential support, 24/7 via text.

Website: www.crisistextline.uk
Text: SHOUT to 85258 (to text with a trained Crisis Volunteer)

  • Your local Accident and Emergency department (A&E)

  • Call the Sussex Mental Healthline on 0300 5000 101 (5pm – 9am weekdays and 24 hours over weekends and bank holidays)
  • Call the Samaritans (24 hours a day) for free at 116 123 - www.samaritans.org
