Records Management Policy
This policy applies to all staff throughout the Trust. It provides a framework with advice and guidance for Records Management, to inform staff of their operational and legal responsibilities. It should be read in conjunction with the NHS Records Management Code of Practice. It replaces the Corporate Records Management Policy and Health Records Management policy with a single unified policy. Records Retention periods are aligned to the NHS Records Management Code of Practice. It is intended to cover physical and electronic records.
