Sussex Integrated Care System
Sussex Health and Care brings together NHS and local authority health and care providers from across the county to work in a more joined up way to ensure better care for all. As an integrated care system, we're committed to offering excellent, high quality and safe healthcare, tackling unequal outcomes and access to services, and making the most efficient use of our resources.
As a partnership, we are supporting the 1.7 million people living in Sussex and changing the way they receive health and care by working together.
The aim is to bring joined up services to the people we serve in our community, to make sure that everyone has the best possible experience of health care and can be better supported to take care of their health.
The shared goals of the partnership are:
- Starting well: We want children to have the best start in life
- Living well: We want people to stay healthy for longer with a reduction in inequalities
- Ageing well: We want people to be supported in their homes and communities by integrated services
- Waiting less: We want people to wait less to access the services they need.
