Group treatment

We offer support to adults with affective disorders and complex emotional difficulties, helping them to develop psychological awareness and 'here and now' coping skills to help towards recovery.

The group treatments use structured, evidence-based approaches, and are supported by individual work within the service.

The group treatment service is for adults who are already within the adult treatment service (ATS).

You can be referred into group treatment by your lead practitioner or care coordinator.

We run a variety of evidence based, psychologically informed groups to support you in your recovery. These can include creative groups, recovery skills and groups specifically for older adults. Speak to your lead practitioner to find out more about the groups on offer in your area.

Our group treatment service teams are made up of people from a variety of clinical backgrounds including nurses, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists and support workers.

Our Brighton & Hove Group Treatment service have pulled together a variety of resources for service users, including information specifically about groups running in Brighton and Hove and testimonies from service users.

In Brighton & Hove, referrals are made via lead practitioners for people already using our Assessment and Treatment services.
