Complex Trauma Service
The Complex Trauma service provides highly specialist psychological interventions for people who have experienced complex trauma and, as a result, struggle with Complex PTSD AND significant dissociative symptoms that usually meet criteria for a dissociative disorder.
This small team offers specialist diagnosis, treatment advice and evidenced-based psychological therapy. The service also provides specialist supervision, consultation and training to other clinicians across a range of services and care groups.
Making a referral
All referrals to the service must be made by other clinical teams within Sussex Partnership.
GPs wishing to refer a patient must do so via their local SPFT-led Assessment and Treatment Service.
