Eating disorders are mental health conditions where unhealthy eating behaviours are used to cope with difficult feelings and issues.

Eating disorders include a range of conditions that can affect someone physically, psychologically and in social situations.

Support for adults

Sussex Eating Disorder Service (SEDS) is a multi-disciplinary team which supports adults with an eating disorder. You can be referred to the service by your GP or another healthcare professional.  

Support for young people

The Sussex Family Eating Disorder Service works across Sussex with children, young people and their parents/ carers/family members to treat Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Atypical Anorexia Nervosa.
