Orri and the Provider Collaborative scoop HSJ Partnership Award

HSJ award.pngCongratulations to Orri - in partnership with the Kent and Sussex Adult Eating Disorders Provider Collaborative - for winning the Best Provider of Mental Health Services in this year's HSJ Partnership Awards.

Orri, which is commissioned by the Provider Collaborative, provides a virtual intensive day service which supports adults in Sussex with eating disorders.

The service, which was launched in 2022, has achieved positive outcomes for people from Sussex, with 71% of patients having gained weight and reported significant improvements in mental health symptoms.

Innovative day treatment programmes like Orri are helping the Provider Collaborative to transform services from being solely inpatient to include community-based care. This means that instead of being admitted to hospital, people who require specialist treatment for an eating disorder can remain at home for their care, stay connected to their community and feel more in control of their recovery.

The Kent and Sussex Adult Eating Disorders Provider Collaborative is a partnership between Sussex Partnership and the North East London NHS Foundation Trust which commissions specialist eating disorder services and oversees the delivery of care and treatment plans for patients from Sussex and Kent.
