Opting out of taking part in research
At Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust we conduct research studies to improve the services we deliver to our patients and their families.
In line with the NHS Constitution, all of our patients should be given the opportunity to receive information about research studies that may be relevant to them, unless they opt-out of receiving such information. Studies vary and can involve trying out new therapies or treatments or sharing views in questionnaires. Our patients enjoy taking part in research and feel that their contribution is valued.
We may send you information about studies from time to time and it is your choice if you want to find out more. You are under no obligation to take part and saying ‘no’ will not affect your clinical care. If you do not wish to be contacted about research, you can let us know in the following ways:
