Chris Harris_Managing Director_Provider Collaboratives.pngA warm welcome to Chris Harris who has been appointed as the Interim Managing Director for the Provider Collaboratives.

He brings a wealth of mental health and housing experience, having previously worked as the Associate Director of Housing for Sussex Partnership and as a mental health commissioner for West Sussex County Council.

Since stepping into the role, Chris has been getting to know our partner organisations and developing his understanding of the benefits of and opportunities for collaborative working across the geographical footprint.

Working closely with the Programme Directors and Clinical Directors, Chris is responsible for overseeing the operations for the three Sussex Partnership-led Provider Collaboratives, driving strategic goals, and establishing effective partnership working to ensure the delivery of high quality and safe patient care.

Chris Harris said: “I’ve been really inspired by the people I’ve met and the innovative initiatives that are being delivered and developed across the Provider Collaboratives, in particular the work to embed co-production and ensure that the patient voice is at the heart of everyone we do.

“I’m really excited by the opportunities to work with staff, partners, and people with lived experience as we continue to shape the design and development of future services.”

Chris replaces Jenny Cooke who left the role at the end of August 2025.
