Identifying key priorities for the Provider Collaborative

plan-2372176_1280.jpgColleagues from the NHS, ICBs, local authorities, independent sector partners and Experts by Experience came together for a second workshop in January to develop the strategy for the Provider Collaborative for the next three to five years.

A key focus of the workshop was to review and refine the key priorities that were identified at the first strategy workshop in October 2024.
Two key areas identified at the first strategy development workshop and explored further in

January were how the Provider Collaborative could make better use of digital technology to support children and young people, families and staff, and opportunities for enhancing support for children and young people who have neurodivergent needs.

There was also a discussion about the proposed new clinical model for intensive mental health services, which is being developed by NHS England, and how the plans for service development within the Provider Collaborative already align with the proposed approach.
The strategy is currently being drafted and will then be shared with system partners, children and young people and their families and carers for review.

The Provider Collaborative plans to continue to deliver workshops every six months to maintain momentum in achieving the strategic objectives.

Nina Marshall, Programme Director for the Provider Collaborative, said:

"We are pleased to be linking in with local systems to collaboratively enable the provision of high-quality services and implement the proposed new clinical model, which aligns with the ethos and values of the Provider Collaborative."
