Introducing the new Southern Counties CAMHS Provider Collaborative

A new Provider Collaborative (PC) has been established to manage commissioning arrangements for specialist mental health services for children and young people from Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and Medway.  

The creation of the Southern Counties CAMHS PC follows the merger of the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Sussex, Kent and Medway CAMHS PC with the Surrey Heartlands CAMHS Tier 4 PC.    

We are delighted to welcome the Surrey Heartlands team to the PC.  

Looking ahead, the PC will work in partnership with people with lived experience, NHS and independent provider partners to create a full range of in-patient beds and alternatives to admission. This will build on the development of existing innovative services commissioned by the PC, including COAST, an intensive home treatment service, and Spring Tide Eating Disorder Day Service in Sussex and Closer2Home in Hampshire.
