Stand for election as a governor at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
Update: Election timetable revised – nominations now open 20 April 2026, with results expected on 18 June 2026.
Elections for the Council of Governors at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT) will take place this spring, and we are encouraging members of our communities to consider standing.
Governors play an important role in shaping the future of the Trust. They represent the voices of patients, carers, staff and local communities, helping ensure the Trust remains focused on the needs of those we serve.
As part of the Council of Governors, elected members help hold the Trust’s Non-Executive Directors to account for the performance of the Board and provide valuable feedback on the services we deliver.
Becoming a Governor is an opportunity to influence decision-making, represent your community and help shape the future of local Mental Health, Learning Disability and Neurodevelopmental services.
